Actor:              Paul Ritter

 

Role:                Reg, who is Norman’s brother-in-law.  Reg is the brother of Annie (Norman’s intended weekend conquest) and Ruth (Norman’s exasperated wife).  He is married to Sarah and is inordinately fond of board games. 

 

Credits:            Ritter’s extensive theatre credits include The Hothouse, Royal Hunt of the Sun, Coram Boy and The Coast of Utopia, all at the National Theatre, The Night Heron at the Royal Court and at The Old Vic in Snake in the Grass, presented by the Peter Hall Company. 

 

On television, he has appeared in “Peterloo,” “Ripley’s Gold,” “Waking the Dead,” “He Kills Coppers,” and “Little Dorrit”. 

 

His film roles include Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, Quantum of Solace, Son of Rambow

More:               The Old Vic production of THE NORMAN CONQUESTS, a comedy trilogy by Alan Ayckbourn, is directed by Matthew Warchus.  The production begins performances on April 7 at Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue).  Opening night is Thursday, April 23.
