RAISES MORE THAN $40,000 FOR
THE VH1 SAVE THE MUSIC FOUNDATION
BENEFITING NEW YORKÂ PUBLIC SCHOOLS
JERSEY BOYS, the Tony, Olivier and Grammy Award-winning international hit musical, has raised $43,521 to benefit New York Public Schools through the VH1 Save The Music Foundation.
As part of the Broadway company’s five-year anniversary on November 6, 2010, JERSEY BOYS pledged to donate a dollar from each ticket sold to an October performance. The money raised exceeds their goal, helping to restore the instrumental music education program at PS 85 in the Bronx and the additional funds will go toward a second VH1 Save The Music Foundation grant recipient school.
