JUDE LAW – Poker Face

“Jude Law approaches Hamlet with focus, determination and the adrenaline level of an Olympic competitor. He fills the theater to the saturation point. This is one production in which you FEEL THE HEAT OF ENERGY FROM THE STAGE.” -Ben Brantley, The New York Times

“ * * * *  (of 4)! JUDE LAW IS ELECTRIFYING! Michael Grandage’s Hamlet is PURE, BRAVE, BEAUTIFUL and as ROBUSTLY EXCITING as you’re likely to see. It’s tough to imagine a more EXHILARATING way to spend three hours sitting down. IF YOU CAN SCORE TICKETS, THIS PLAY’S THE THING TO SEE.” -Elysa Gardner, USA Today

“(4 ½ stars out of 5)! JUDE LAW gives a SPINE-TINGLING and RICHLY LAYERED PERFORMANCE in HAMLET. HE HOLDS YOU RAPT. What sets this interpretation apart isn’t just Law’s performance, but Michael Grandage’s EXCELLENT direction. Grandage’s HAMLET is LEAN, FOCUSED and ELECTRIFYING, with FRESH COATS OF INSPIRATION.” –Joe Dziemianowicz, Daily News

“JUDE LAW commands virtually every scene with the EFFORTLESS VIRTUOSITY of a Shakespearean action hero. The fine actor has a DASHING, HIGH-ENERGY CONFIDENCE, a focused, varied voice and a lithe physical power that propels him from spotlight to spotlight.” -Linda Winer, Newsday
