THAT FACE began previews on Thursday, April 29 and opened on Tuesday, May 18. This Olivier nominated play’s New York premiere received acclaim from some of New York’s top critics. Below is a sampling of the notices for the production:

“A devastating and shocking portrait of a wealthy family in meltdown, elegantly delivered.”

–Jesse Oxfeld, New York Observer

“Cristin Milioti gives a funny, sad, and otherwise beautifully articulated performance.”

“Laila Robins’ intense performance recalls Martha in ‘Virginia Woolf’ and Blanche in ‘Streetcar.’”

–Matt Windman, AM New York

THAT FACE features Christopher Abbott (Good Boys and True at Second Stage),

Maïté Alina (Off-Broadway debut), Betty Gilpin (Good Boys and True and Boys’ Life at Second Stage), Cristin Milioti (The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter at NYTW), Laila Robins (Frozen), and Victor Slezak (Salome).
