BIOGRAPHY:
CHRISTOPHER WALKEN (Carmichael) won an Academy Award and the New York Film Critic’s Circle Award for his performance in The Deer Hunter. Walken also received an Academy Award nomination and won BAFTA and SAG awards for Catch Me if You Can. Film: Annie Hall, Pennies From Heaven, The Dead Zone, At Close Range, Biloxi Blues, King of New York, Man On Fire, Man of the Year, Wedding Crashers, Hairspray, True Romance, Pulp Fiction, Batman Returns. Theatre: The Lion In Winter (Clarence Derwent Award), The Seagull (Obie), The Rose Tattoo (Theatre World Award), James Joyce’s The Dead, The Seagull (NY Shakespeare Festival). In 1997 Walken was awarded the Susan Stein Shiva Award for his work with Joseph Papp’s Public Theatre. Walken has hosted “Saturday Night Live” 6 times since 1990 and performed in Spike Jonze-directed music video for “Weapon of Choice.”
