Nominations for the 63rd annual Antoinette Perry Tony Awards, celebrating excellence on Broadway, were announced today.

33 VARIATIONS has been nominated for Best Play, Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play (Jane Fonda), Best Performance by a Featured Actor in a Play (Zach Grenier), Best Scenic Design of a Play (Derek McLane) and Best Lighting Design of a Play (David Lander).

EXIT THE KING has been nominated for Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play (Geoffrey Rush), Best Scenic Design of a Play (Dale Ferguson), Best Costume Design of a Play (Dale Ferguson), and Best Sound Design of a Play (Russell Goldsmith).

GOD OF CARNAGE has been nominated for Best Play, Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play (Hope Davis & Marcia Gay Harden), Best Performance by a Leading Actor in a Play (Jeff Daniels & James Gandolfini), and Best Direction of a Play (Matthew Warchus).

MARY STUART has been nominated for Best Revival of Play, Best Performance by a Leading Actress in a Play (Janet McTeer and Harriet Walter), Best Direction of a Play (Phyllida Lloyd), Best Costume Design of a Play (Anthony Ward), Best Lighting Design of a Play (Hugh Vanstone) and Best Sound Design of a Play (Paul Arditti).
