Wake up with a bang  when international sensation STOMP makes an appearance on WCBS TV  tomorrow Saturday November 6  during their

9 AM broadcast (Channel 2 in the tri-state area).

STOMP, the international sensation, plays at New York’s Orpheum Theatre (126 Second Avenue at 8th Street).   Created by Luke Cresswell and Steve McNicholas, STOMP is currently playing in New York, London’s West End, and on North American and European tours.

STOMP has been an overwhelming success marked by rave reviews, numerous awards, an Academy Award nomination, a Grammy nomination, four Emmy nominations and one Emmy Award, noteworthy TV appearances ranging from The Academy Awards to Mister Rogers’ Neighborhood, and a series of award-winning international commercials.   STOMP’s international engagements have included Japan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, South Africa, Israel, Palestine, Brazil, Argentina, Italy, Germany, Poland, Bahrain, and The Acropolis in Athens, Greece. STOMP has also made its unique presence known on cuts on Quincy Jones’ CD Q’s Jook Joint and in a unique collaboration on the Latin Grammys with the award-winning band Calle 13.    STOMP has become such an identifiable part of popular culture that it has been parodied on Saturday Night Live and The Simpsons, and has been an answer on Jeopardy!

Tickets are $72.50 and $40 at all performances except Sunday at 7 PM when all tickets are $40.  Its running time is 90 minutes.
