Golden Globe® Award-winner Keri Russell (”Felicity”) will star as ‘Eve Harrington’ in The Actors Fund’s highly anticipated all-star reading of ALL ABOUT EVE, the classic backstage drama that is one of the most entertaining and witty films of all time. The reading of ALL ABOUT EVE will be directed by Emmyâ and DGA Award-winning director John Erman (”Roots,” “Who Will Love My Children”).
The 1950 film, ALL ABOUT EVE, was written and directed by Joseph L. Mankiewicz, based on the short story “The Wisdom of Eve,” by Mary Orr, and stars Bette Davis as Margo Channing, the prominent yet aging Broadway star. Anne Baxter plays Eve Harrington, a willingly helpful young fan who insinuates herself into Channing’s life, threatening Channing’s career and personal relationships. The film also features George Sanders, Celeste Holm, Hugh Marlowe, Gary Merrill, Marilyn Monroe and Thelma Ritter. ALL ABOUT EVE was nominated for 14 Academy Awardsâ and won 6, including Best Picture.

KERI RUSSELL (Eve Harrington) made her New York debut in Neil Labute’s Fat Pig at MCC Theater. Film credits include last season’s critically acclaimed Waitress, Mission: Impossible III, August Rush, We Were Soldiers, The Upside of Anger, Dead Man’s Curve, Eight Days a Week, Mad About Mambo, and The Girl in the Park. Upcoming films include Bedtime Stories alongside Courtney Cox and Adam Sandler, and she is currently filming the independent film Leaves of Grass opposite Edward Norton and Susan Sarandon. Most recognizable for her four seasons on “Felicity,” a role for which she received a Golden Globe Award®, Russell has also appeared on the hit show “The Mickey Mouse Club,” and guest starred on “Boy Meets World”, “Emerald Cove,” “Married with Children,” “Malibu Shores,” “Roar,” “7th Heaven,” and “Scrubs”. Other television credits include the Emmy® Award-winning and Golden Globe® Award-nominated miniseries “Into the West” and the made for TV movies “The Magic of Ordinary Days,” “When Innocence is Lost,” and “The Lottery.”
