TONY AWARD NOMINEES IN THE NEWS

Alfred Hitchcock’s THE 39 STEPS has been nominated for six 2008 Tony Awards, including: Best Play, Best Director of a Play, Best Scenic Design of a Play, Best Costume Design of a Play, Best Lighting Design of a Play, Best Sound Design of a Play.   The production, which won the 2007 Olivier Award for Best New Comedy and two 2008 Drama Desk Awards for Unique Theatrical Experience and Lighting Design, is now playing at Broadway’s Cort Theatre (138 West 48th Street), following its sold out New York premiere limited engagement at Roundabout Theatre Company’s American Airlines Theatre.
